On Sunday 17 December 2006, Mevlevi Australia celebrated Hazreti Mevlana's Sheb-i Arus, or Wedding with Eternity, on the traditional anniversary of his return to his Beloved.  The celebration took place at Prahran Town Hall and was attended by almost 400 guests.  It comprised a concert performed by the Australian Sufi Music Group and a special Sema (see the programme).
